Refund policy
At Gearharts Fine Chocolates, we want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchases. We stand behind the quality of our products, but we understand that sometimes support is necessary. Therefore, we have developed the following return/refund policy based on industry standards:
- If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately at info@gearhartschocolates.com or (434) 972-9100, and we will gladly replace the product or issue a refund.
- We take great care to ensure the quality and freshness of our products. As our products are food items and perishable, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for safety and hygiene reasons once the products have left our facility.
- Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any delays in the transit of our shipments. These delays may be caused by various factors such as high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier mis-scans, or inaccurate/incomplete shipping information. Additionally, we do not require a signature for the release of any shipment, as this is at the discretion of the delivery person. Please be aware that leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual carrier and is outside of our control.
- If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. We will work with you to resolve any issues or concerns, and if necessary, issue a refund or exchange. After 30 days of receiving your products, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
